Find out the story of Pukekawa the Maori name for one of Auckland’s most famous iconic landmarks, the Auckland Domain. Situated near the city centre, the Domain is the largest of Auckland’s volcanic craters. It was once the residence of the first Maori King, and is currently home to the Auckland War Memorial Museum. Expert guides from Ngati Whatua give historical interpretation of the many archeological features that manifest Auckland’s unique cultural heritage.

Easy walk, majority of terrain is flat. Please wear sturdy shoes, wear jacket, sunscreen, water and snacks.
